The Millennium also earned its developer the Partnership for Innovative Energy Solutions earlier this year.

The installation of efficient natural gas ranges and combination space and water heating units at The Millennium Waterway earned The Dinerstein Cos. and CenterPoint Energy this honor in February.
The Millennium Waterway was also named a finalist in the Green category for the 2012 Landmark Awards. Presented by Stewart Title and co-sponsored by The Hunton Group, Cokinos, Bosien & Young Law Firm, Comcast Business Class and the US Green Building Council, the Landmark Awards winners were announced April 19 during a ceremony hosted by the Houston Business Journal at the Houstonian Hotel.
