The Mint Corporation (TSX VENTURE:MIT) ("Mint") announced today that it wishes to correct an error in the information circular for the annual meeting held on June 27, 2013. The information circular contained information in connection with a resolution seeking retrospective shareholder approval for the issuance of common shares in satisfaction of the debt arising out of the unpaid salaries of four executives of Mint in 2010.

The information circular said that the amount of the unpaid salary was $165,000, for which 4,065,600 common shares were issued. The actual amount of the unpaid salary was $508,200, for which 4,065,600 common shares were issued.
