The Montreal Alouettes: 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan at Percival Molson Stadium

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - July 4, 2005) - A fan favourite throughout the 1980s and 90s, wrestler "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will take on Le Geant Kurgan and his manager "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart during the half-time show as the Alouettes host the Edmonton Eskimos at Percival Molson Stadium this July 8 at 7 p.m.

Winner of the first Royal Rumble, Duggan was a popular figure throughout his time in the WWF. He kicked off his wrestling career in 1979 after a stint on the NFL Atlanta Falcons' offensive line. He played NCAA football at Southern Methodist, Uzooma Okeke's alma-mater.

Serge "Le Gladiateur" Demers will take on Eric Mastrocola in the pre-game battle.

This year marks the fourth annual Alouettes Mania. Rougeau took on Kamala in the event's third edition last season. In 2003, The Quebecers beat The Nasty Boys. In 2002, Rougeau won his match with King Kong Bundy.

The Alouettes (1 - 1 - 0), who are proud to offer quality entertainment at each home game, will take on the Edmonton Eskimos (2 - 0 - 0) this Friday, July 8 at 7 p.m. at Percival Molson Stadium.
