The New Precise Unveils Management Team

Experienced Executives From Oracle, EMC, HP/Mercury and Wily to Drive Transaction Performance Management Agenda


REDWOOD SHORES, CA--(Marketwire - September 17, 2008) - Precise today announces the company's new management team as part of the official company launch (see "The New Precise to Redefine Application Performance Management"). Led by CEO Mark Kremer, this team brings decades of expertise, experience and passion to lead the charge for innovation in application performance management (APM).

The Precise team has the experience, passion and energy to redefine the APM market. With Transaction Performance Management (TPM), Precise brings a fresh approach to solving application performance problems. The Precise team is:

-- Mark Kremer, chief executive officer: Prior to joining Precise, Mark was a general partner with Benchmark Capital. Prior to Benchmark, Mark started and led Broadbase Software Inc., (now Kana Software Inc.) (OTCBB: KANA) through initial public offering in 1999. Mark has held executive positions with Oracle, Verity, Motorola and Teradyne.

-- Zohar Gilad, executive vice president: Prior to joining Precise, Zohar held several senior executive positions at Mercury (acquired by HP): senior vice president of strategy, products and product marketing. During his tenure at Mercury, Zohar created and led the APM business unit to market leadership with approximately $100M in revenue.

-- Peter Donnolly, chief financial officer: Prior to joining Precise, Peter was vice president of worldwide pricing and licensing at Symantec and vice president of business process engineering at Veritas Software (acquired by Symantec).

-- Neil Stratz, vice president, Americas sales: Prior to Precise, Neil was vice president of Americas sales at Wily (now CA). Before CA, Neil held sales management positions at IPNet Solutions, Angara and Brio Technology, Inc/Sqribe Technologies (now Oracle/Hyperion).

-- Ed Colonna, vice president of marketing: Prior to Precise, Ed was vice president of marketing at Symphoniq. Before Symphoniq, Ed held management positions at Mercury, Extensity and PeopleSoft.

-- Avner Yonaei, vice president of engineering: Prior to joining Precise, Avner was VP of Symmetrix software engineering at EMC where he established its rigorous product engineering approach. Avner has also held other executive positions with EMC and Amdocs and served in the Israeli Air Force.
