The Ocean Group Will Brand and Market New Balance Los Angeles

Engagement Also Includes Marketing of Seminal Runners' Store -- FrontRunners

SANTA MONICA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 30, 2007 -- The Ocean Group has been selected to perform all branding, marketing and communications endeavors for two chains of Los Angeles stores dedicated to performance footwear, technical active wear and stylish casual wear -- New Balance LA and FrontRunners.

For New Balance LA, The Ocean Group will provide brand guidance, as well as integrated online and advertising support, to drive the expansion of brand's retail presence throughout Southern California.

The endeavor is an opportunity to introduce a brick-and-mortar store line to the Los Angeles-area by emphasizing online marketing tactics as well as traditional offline media.

New Balance Santa Monica and South Bay plus New Balance Pasadena -- which opens mid-year 2007 -- represent the largest New Balance locations in the United States. Their product line includes running, walking, cross-training and tennis shoes as well as rugged and casual footwear, New Balance branded active wear, and workout accessories.

New Balance Los Angeles is owned by Paul Tordella who also owns seminal runners' store and Westside-institution FrontRunners.

Mr. Tordella acquired the license for the brand's Los Angeles County presence from New Balance, a privately held company which is a leading manufacturer of running shoes.

New Balance is known for the quality of its fit, a key attribute in a world in which consumers are spending hours putting hundreds of pounds of pressure on their feet.

The Ocean Group will also handle brand strategy, online efforts, and advertising and promotion for Tordella's three FrontRunners retail locations based in the upscale Brentwood market.

FrontRunners Shoes, FrontRunners Men and FrontRunners Women offer fine performance footwear and lifestyle clothing for activities ranging from running to yoga.
