The Options Clearing Corporation Announces Officer Promotion

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - December 15, 2008) - The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) today announced that Jennifer Stathis, 42, has been promoted to First Vice President, Application Services from Vice President, Application Services.

In this new role, Stathis will lead a staff of five in supporting OCC's Application Services organization, which includes all application support, development, testing, and application architecture. She will continue to represent all of IT as a member of OCC's Project Portfolio Prioritization team as well as represent Applications Services on OCC's Organizational Development Team.

Stathis joined OCC in 2000 as a Development Lead, managing single corporate objectives and working on OCC's Hedge System. In 2002, she transitioned to the ENCORE (OCC's clearing system) team as a lead in the design and development areas. Stathis became a key leader on the ENCORE test team and a strong presence during the installation and production support of the most recent versions of ENCORE as well as many corporate objectives.

Stathis is a graduate of Elmhurst College with a Bachelors degree in Information Systems.
