The PIMCO Foundation Announces 2009 Grant Recipients

NEWPORT BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - October 30, 2009) - The PIMCO Foundation, the charitable arm of the Newport Beach-based money management firm PIMCO, today announced it has awarded $549,375 in 2009 grants to 30 US charities and community organizations.

With over 200 applicants, grants ranged between $5,000 and $25,000. The 2009 grants were awarded across multiple priority areas. The 2009 grant recipients are:

The PIMCO Foundation also announced that their window for accepting 2010 grant applications will open on May 17th and will close on July 15th, 2010.
