The Private Hockey Company of King announces $14 million Facility

The Company is pleased to announce that we are proceeding with plans to construct the world's first hockey facility dedicated to private members Attention: Arts/Entertainment Editor, Business/Financial Editor, Lifestyle Editor, News Editor, Sports Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 15, 2005) - The Private Hockey Company of King is announcing its plan to open the world's first private club dedicated to adult recreational hockey. The twin pad facility, featuring NHL style dressing rooms and a golf course style clubhouse, will be built in the Highway 400 development corridor north of the King Sideroad. The club will begin taking membership registration information shortly, in anticipation of a Fall 2007 opening.

The unique facility will only be available for use by member individuals, teams or leagues. All ice time will be scheduled for adult league play and all of the privileges associated with a private club will be conferred upon the members.Corporate Director David Boyd believes that "Adult hockey players in Ontario are looking for place where they can play hockey at a reasonable time of day, have a clean comfortable dressing room and enjoy an adult social setting after the game." In the current market the reality is the exact opposite. Players are coming off of the ice at midnight going into a cold, smelly room that they often have to vacate in a half hour or less.

Individual members will find that the cost of membership is only a few hundred dollars a year more than what they are currently paying to play in an organized league in the GTA. Amenities such as a fitness facility, sauna, whirlpool, games room, sports lounge and dining room will more than offset the additional expense. Leagues will operate year round and membership will be restricted to approximately 2,000 players.

Director of Marketing and Development Blake Hurst explains that "the land for the project is secured and a group of primary investors has been identified. Discussions with a number of NHL players have taken place and it is clear that both current and former NHL'ers will make up part of the ownership group." /For further information: Alternate contact:
