The Pulse Network Announces Allen Bonde as Company's New CMO

Internet and Social Marketing Pioneer Joins Expanding TPN Executive Team

CANTON, MA--(Marketwire - Aug 2, 2011) - The Pulse Network (TPN), a leading provider of premium content creation, digital distribution and presence management solutions for B2B and consumer brands, along with a far-reaching platform for campaigns and events, has announced that Internet and social marketing pioneer Allen Bonde has joined the company in the role of Chief Marketing Officer. This news follows the recent announcement of the company's new multi-channel digital marketing solutions resulting from the merger of eight previously independent business units -- including CrossTech Partners, CrossTech Media and New Marketing Labs -- in to The Pulse Network to create an emerging digital media, community development and lead generation powerhouse.

Bonde brings over 20 years of experience in the Internet sector as both a marketer and analyst at firms such as the Yankee Group and McKinsey & Co., and is a recognized expert on social media, e-commerce and CRM. Most recently he was co-founder and CMO at venture-backed social marketing tools provider Offerpop. Prior to co-founding Offerpop, he was CMO at eVergance Partners, a web and CRM services firm acquired by KANA Software in 2007. Bonde will be leading TPN's inbound marketing efforts, product definition, affiliate partner development and corporate marketing team, and will be blogging for The Pulse Network and contributing to the company's Pulse on Business programming.

Bonde has been featured in over 100 publications worldwide, has been a guest on CNBC and Fox News, blogs for 1to1Media, oneforty.com, and Social Times, and was recognized as a top CMO on Twitter by Social Media Marketing Magazine. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He will be one of the many social marketing experts participating in the upcoming Inbound Marketing Summit in Boston Sept 14-15, which is hosted by TPN in partnership with HubSpot.
