The School of Big Rock Is Back in Session!

Registration is now open for the Fall semester of the Big Rock Lecture Series.

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 13, 2010) - Big Rock Brewery (TSX:BR.UN) is opening their doors to the public for two new semesters at Big Rock University. Each semester (Fall/Winter) the Big Rock Lecture series showcases four different lectures from several University of Calgary professors with all the proceeds going directly towards eight University of Calgary undergraduate scholarships. You can attend the ones that interest you the most or you can register for the whole semester. Plus, no lecture is complete without a gourmet dinner from the Big Rock Grill and a couple of Big Rock beers. Naturally.

To kick off the Fall 2010 semester Big Rock is proud to announce its keynote speaker, Calgary Art Historian Dr. David Bershad. Dr. Bershad was recently called upon as the only North American to join a team of international experts in determining whether or not a painting, recently discovered in Italy, is in fact a self-portrait suspected to be done by the master himself Leonardo Da Vinci. Dr. Bershad will discuss his recent trip, explain why he does believe the work is an authentic Da Vinci and will take questions from the audience about the on-going investigation. Opening remarks will be presented by Elizabeth Cannon, the President of the University of Calgary.
