The Senators in Your Community for Nov. 10 to Nov. 23

Sparty visits Scotiabank Read to Succeed winning classes

Scotiabank Read to Succeed is a literacy initiative presented free of charge by the Ottawa Senators to assist elementary school teachers in motivating their students to read on a daily basis through incentives and rewards. Each month registered classes that reach their reading goals are entered into a draw to win one of six 'Sparty Parties' including a classroom visit from Sparty, pizza courtesy of Pizza Pizza and juice courtesy of Coca Cola. Teachers interested in registering their class for Scotiabank Read to Succeed or any other Sens@School program can do so by visiting the Senators website at www.ottawasenators.com.
