OTTAWA, OTTAWA--(CCNMatthews - April 6, 2007) - The Ottawa Senators' year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues this month. The following is a look at the club's community schedule from Friday, April 6, to Thursday, April 12.

Sparty and the Direct Energy Power Patrol visit the Red Zone at Scotiabank Place

On Thursday, April 12, Spartacat and the Direct Energy Power Patrol will be visiting the Red Zone at Scotiabank Place. From 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., the first 100 people wearing Senators gear or red clothing will be treated to a pancake breakfast, and the Power Patrol will hand out some great prizes. One lucky fan will win a pair of tickets to a 2007 Senators home playoff game. For those attending the breakfast, a donation to Roger's House is appreciated.

Spartacat appearance

Wednesday, April 11, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m.

Sparty will be visiting the Be Red, Give Red blood donor clinic at Scotiabank Place, Gate 2, lower level. Sparty will be present to greet donors and give out prizes. To schedule an appointment to donate blood, please call 1-888-2-DONATE or 1-866-JE-DONNE.
