The Senators in your Community from Dec. 1 to Dec. 14

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 1, 2006) - The Ottawa Senators' year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues this month. The following is a look at the club's community schedule from Friday, Dec. 1, to Thursday, Dec. 14.

Saturday, Dec. 2 - CFRA Christmas Cheer Broadast, 11 a.m.

On Saturday, Dec. 2, Ottawa Senators president Roy Mlakar will take park in the 56th annual Christmas Cheer Broadcast on 580 CFRA.

Sunday, Dec. 3 - Hockey Canada Skills Camp,Scotiabank Place

Scotiabank Place, the Ottawa Senators, the Ottawa District Hockey Association, Hockey Outaouais and Hockey Canada will host Hockey Canada's Skills Camp on Sunday, Dec. 3, at Scotiabank Place. More than 140 atom- and peewee-aged players from Ottawa and Gatineau will take part in on-ice and off-ice sessions during the day. Registered players will receive a Hockey Canada Skills Camp jersey, a Team Canada mini jersey, a water bottle and will attend the Ottawa Senators vs. Tampa Bay Lightning game on Saturday, Dec. 2.

Spartacat appearances

Sunday, Dec. 3 - Soloway Jewish Community Centre, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Spartacat will be attending Mitzvah Day at the Soloway Jewish Community Centre on 21 Nadolny Sachs Private in Ottawa.

Friday, Dec. 8 - Midway Family Fun Park, 2370 Lancaster Road, Ottawa, 11 a.m. to noon.

Spartacat will be on hand to entertain the guests at Midway Max's birthday celebration at the Midway Family Fun Park.
