The Senators In Your Community From Dec. 19 to Dec. 25

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 19, 2008) - The Ottawa Senators' year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues this month. The following is a look at the club's community schedule from Friday, Dec. 19, to Thursday, Dec. 25.

Spartacat appearances

Spartacat, the Senators' ambassador of fun, will participate in the official puck drop ceremony of the Fifth Annual Ottawa Senators Novice Holiday Classic presented by the West Carleton and the Kanata minor hockey associations. The event takes place on Friday, Dec. 19, at the Bell Sensplex, from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p..m. Spartacat will also visit the participants in the tournament on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Minor hockey intermission activities

On Saturday, Dec. 20, Timbits hockey players from the Gloucester Centre Minor Hockey Association will take part in an on-ice intermission activity at Scotiabank Place during the Ottawa Senators game against the Dallas Stars.
