OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 2, 2007) - The Ottawa Senators' year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continue this month. The following is a look at the club's community schedule from Friday, March 2, to Thursday, March 8.

GM Sens Street Tour Visits 3rd Annual Ottawa Senators Initiation FUN Days

Saturday, March 3 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and Sunday, March 4 (8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.)

Bell Sensplex, 1565 Maple Grove Road, Kanata, Ont.

For the third consecutive year, the GM Sens Street Tour will be visiting Ottawa Senators Initiation FUN Days at the Bell Sensplex in Kanata. The Sparty slide, Direct Energy hardest shot, top-shot goalie (shooting accuracy game) and soccer will all be open to tournament participants.

In conjunction with General Motors, the GM Sens Street Tour makes hockey available to all skill levels and age groups by taking the game back to the street. The tour, which travels at no charge to local fairs, festivals and charity events, comes complete with everything from a mini-outdoor rink with boards to interactive games, and Spartacat, the Senators ambassador of fun.

Spartacat will appear at the Ottawa Senators Initiation FUN Days on Saturday, March 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 pm. to 1:30 p.m., and on Sunday, March 4, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
