The Senators in your Community from March 30 to April 5

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 30, 2007) - The Ottawa Senators' year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues this month. The following is a look at the club's community schedule from Friday, March 30, to Thursday, April 5.

Sparty and the Direct Engergy Power Patrol visit McDonald's at 510 Hazeldean Road

On Thursday, April 5, Spartacat and the Direct Energy Power Patrol will be visiting the McDonald's restaurant on 510 Hazeldean Road in Kanata. From 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., the Power Patrol will reward those people wearing Senators gear, red clothing or driving red cars with a free Egg McMuffin. Other great prizes, including a pair of Senators playoff tickets, will also be given out to fans.

Spartacat appearances

Sunday, April 1, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Sparty will be appearing at the 2007 Vanier Maple SugarFest, which will take place at Richelieu Park on avenue des Peres Blancs.

Sunday April 1, 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Sparty will be on hand at the 13th Annual Max Keeping Birthdate Bowl-a-thon, which will take place at the Merivale Bowling Centre, 1916 Merivale Road, Ottawa.

Tuesday, April 3, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Sparty will be appearing with CJRC radio during their broadcast of the Ottawa Senators game at Bar 777 in the Casino du Lac-Leamy.
