The Senators in Your Community from Sept. 14 to Sept. 21

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 14, 2007) - The Ottawa Senators' year-long commitment to community outreach programs throughout the National Capital Region continues this month. The following is a look at the club's community schedule from Friday, Sept. 14, to Friday, Sept. 21.

Ottawa Senators Fan Fest

The Ottawa Senators' Fan Fest, presented by the Ottawa Citizen, TEAM 1200 Radio and A-Channel, returns to Scotiabank Place on Sunday, Sept. 16. The event will feature the Senators' red and white intra-squad game, two separate team practices, the GM Sens Street Tour, the Senators used-equipment sale, free handouts and entertainment throughout Scotiabank Place. Festivities begin at 8 a.m. and run until 1:30 p.m. Visit for more information.

Spartacat appearances

Saturday, Sept. 15, 11 a.m. to noon

Spartacat will take part in Community Day at the West Carleton Community Complex, 5670 Carp Road, to celebrate the grand opening of the new Sensplex arena and Carleton Community Complex.

Saturday, Sept. 15, 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 20, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Scotiabank Place)

Sparty will make three visits to Sensations, the official store of the Senators, to promote the exclusive sale of the new Senators RBK jerseys.

Friday, Sept. 21, from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Spartacat will visit the United Way breakfast launch at the Ottawa Congress Centre at 55 Colonel By Drive in Ottawa to help celebrate the United Way's 2007 campaign launch.
