The Skinless Project Launches The Skinless Project Marketplace

To Celebrate Women's History Month, Chicago-Based Company Celebrates Products, People and Companies That Promote Women via Online Community

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 13, 2014) - The Skinless Project, an online platform that supports the notion that all women should embrace and cultivate their personal power, is launching The Skinless Project Marketplace (http://skinlessproject.com/marketplace/), to celebrate women-owned products, companies and people globally and inspire women locally. This online hub will house companies that inspire women and female consumers.

"On the heels of International Women's Day and to celebrate Women's History Month, we are pleased to launch the next brand extension of The Skinless Project -- The Skinless Project Marketplace -- a hub where we have selected companies that are pro-women because they either deliberately use positive messaging when it comes to their female consumers, were started by female entrepreneurs to sell creative and meaningful products, or they use their charity arm or part of their profit to uplift women and communities," said founder Maaria Mozaffar.

March's speaker for The Skinless Project Global Seminar Series will be Kate Robinson, founder of Digital Salad. Based in the United Kingdom, Robinson is a storyteller and a producer whose mission is to help organizations tell their stories to the masses globally Robinson served as a camera assistant to the Hollywood legend Stanley Kubrick ("The Shining"). Progressing through the camera department on the acclaimed films '"Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" and "Chariots of Fire," Robinson took a leap of faith in her ability to support directors as a Steadicam operator and camerawoman. Acclaimed and in great demand, Robinson has worked alongside Clint Eastwood, Bernardo Bertolucci and Steven Spielberg, and is the two-time winner of a British TV Craft Award for her work in Advertising.

The Global Seminar series will take place live on March 25 at 10am, CMT.

In addition to the Global Seminar Series, The Skinless Project will continue to spotlight and celebrate women each month as it has since its inception. March celebrates Pilar Gerasimo, founding editor of Experience Life, a progressive health blog that reaches over 3 million people. She most recently served as editor of Healthy Life on Huffington Post.com. On the blog http://skinlessproject.com/march-2014-inspirational-woman-pilar-gerasimo/, Gerasimo explains her role at Experience Life and how she is changing our perception of living a healthy life via her app "101 Revolutionary Ways to Be Healthy," and her upcoming book about living a healthy life.
