The Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group Announces November Sales

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 30, 2006 -- The Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SWRG) today announced sales for the fiscal month November 2006.

Total consolidated restaurant sales for the month ended November 27, 2006 were approximately $10.2 million, a 1.0 percent increase from November 2005.

For the fiscal month of November, comparable consolidated restaurant sales were $9.4 million, a 2.8 percent decrease from November 2005. Comparable consolidated sales include only units that have been open for 15 months or longer.
