The Software Association of NH Opens Nominations for Annual Awards

DURHAM, NH--(Marketwire - August 5, 2009) - The Software Association of New Hampshire (SwANH) today announced the opening of nominations for its annual software company awards at The deadline for nominations is Thursday, September 24th.

Each year SwANH recognizes leaders in New Hampshire's software and information technology industries. In previous years, SwANH has given the Rookie of the Year, the Most Valuable Player (MVP), and the Information & Computer Technology (ICT) Global Business Awards. These awards celebrate companies new to the industry and companies that have shown leadership in the industry.

SwANH will confer its awards at its upcoming annual conference, InfoXchange 2009, to be held on October 8th. The Rookie of the Year Award recognizes a new company that has the potential for making a significant impact on the software industry. The company should have the potential for being an MVP. The MVP Award recognizes an existing company that made a significant impact on the software industry. The Information & Computer Technology (ICT) Global Business, given jointly by SwANH and the New Hampshire Office of International Commerce, will recognize the company whose trade relationships have created higher sales, more jobs, boosted its profitability, and increased the image of the NH software or information technology industry.

Chairman of the SwANH Board, Dave Todaro of Bid2Win Software, states, "The annual SwANH awards, typically presented by the governor, provides a unique opportunity for companies in three separate categories to gain recognition for their accomplishments."
