The Tracking Corporation Announces Purchase Order From Major Defense Contractor

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - December 17, 2007) - The Tracking Corporation (PINKSHEETS: TRKG), a leading provider of Global Positioning Systems (GPS), announced receipt of a second purchase order from one of the nation's largest defense contractors to provide real-time in-transit tracking of high value assets. In contrast to RFID technology, real-time GPS tracking allows continuous updates on the exact asset location rather than a simple registration with an RFID tag reader as an asset arrives or leaves a warehouse or shipping terminal. The Tracking Corporation technology will initially be used to track shipments of high value items being returned for repair or overhaul. Trials conducted in November confirmed the ability to reliably track hardware worldwide with precision accuracy.

"Validation testing in November confirmed our tracking technology provides the same service worldwide that we have been providing to domestic customers for the last 5 years. We believe this initial engagement in tracking high value material for the military customer is a precursor to requiring continuous on-demand tracking for every high value shipment," stated Jerry Grisaffi, Tracking Corporation CEO.
