The University of Montana Renews Partnership With Paciolan

Leverages Paciolan System to Achieve Ticketing Success

IRVINE, CA and MISSOULA, MT--(Marketwire - Jul 25, 2011) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing, and fundraising solutions in college athletics, announced today that The University of Montana (UM) has renewed its partnership with the company. Leveraging Paciolan's ticketing solutions, UM sells tickets for athletics events, concerts at the Adams Center, performing arts on campus and other regional events. UM's GrizTix has become the most prominent ticketing entity in the state of Montana and sells more than 350,000 tickets annually. UM has been working with Paciolan since 2003.

"Paciolan has helped us achieve our goal of being the leading regional ticketing provider in Montana," said Mary Muse, director of public events for The University of Montana. "As a member of the Paciolan client community, we are able to grow our business and achieve measurable success by sharing ideas and best practices with other like-minded venues."

A national powerhouse in the Division I Football Championship Sub-Division, UM has won national football championships in 1995 and 2001. Working with Paciolan, and leveraging success on the field, UM has also succeeded in consistently selling out its football tickets each year.

With the renewed partnership, UM has implemented Paciolan's PACMail email marketing system, which allows it to market and promote upcoming games and events, and cross sell to its database to increase sales. PACMail also complements UM's ticketing, marketing, fundraising and social media campaigns to provide a powerful communication tool.

"The old school way of doing things was to segment ticketing and marketing," added Muse. "To be successful today, you have to create a fluid process of building an interactive community, which includes the venue, ticket buyer and promoter. Paciolan's ticketing, marketing and social media technology allow us to focus on the specific needs of the fan or customer to better service them."

"We're excited to be helping The University of Montana achieve its regional ticketing success including selling both season and single tickets for athletics as well as concerts and events at the Adams Center," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. "We look forward to continuing our partnership to help them achieve their future goals."
