The University of Oklahoma Extends 28-Year Partnership With Paciolan

Secures 50 Percent of Season Ticket Renewals Online

IRVINE, CA and NORMAN, OK--(Marketwire - Jan 18, 2012) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing, and fundraising solutions in college athletics, announced today that The University of Oklahoma ("Oklahoma") has renewed its partnership with the company. Working with Paciolan since 1983, Oklahoma will continue leveraging all of Paciolan's industry-leading solutions, which have helped Oklahoma achieve exceptional success. Oklahoma's online season ticket renewal rates, for example, have consistently increased over the past four years to a current rate of 50 percent.

"We have been with Paciolan for 28 years and achieved many of our goals during that time by using its software to help us develop new solutions and respond to changing needs," said Joe Castiglione, director of athletics, for The University of Oklahoma.

Working in conjunction with Paciolan, Oklahoma created its innovative "Sooner Club Loyalty Program," which rewards loyalty points to students, donors and season ticket holders who attend events. Paciolan integrated points for attendance, ticket sales and donations into a single system that allows Sooner fans and students to earn priority points for attending events, locking in their loyalty.

"We use Paciolan to help us integrate all the Sooner Loyalty Program data so that we can accurately calculate and distribute loyalty points to everyone," said McK Williams, assistant athletics director of ticket operations for The University of Oklahoma. "In addition, we employ the program to help us fill seats at games, create a complementary 'win-win' relationship between us and our fans, donors and students, and give us an active home field advantage for our games. We also use it to help seed future donor support from students who accumulate points and become new donors into their alumni years."

With Paciolan's fundraising solution, Oklahoma has also been able to drive revenues, while serving season ticket holders and donors. It recently streamlined the online donation process to make it easier for donors to make their gifts through its website. A new feature includes an online priority point calculator that encourages increased donations and provides the ability to elevate to the next level of corresponding donor benefits.

Over the past year, Oklahoma has also leveraged the Paciolan ticketing system to step up its concert business and serve new fans. This has resulted in increased incremental revenues and grown the number of tickets sold through their Paciolan system. Headlining acts include: Guns N' Roses, Lady Antebellum, and Miranda Lambert.

Oklahoma also uses Paciolan's PACMail e-mail marketing system, which provides instant communication with fans, ticket holders and donors, for time-sensitive news, such as priority seating and ticket pre-sales sales, as well as upcoming games and events. The system is fast, effective and easily links to accounts, while supporting renewals.

"From exciting athletics initiatives and conference championships, to headlining concert events, Oklahoma sets the stage for excellence and we're thrilled to be a part of it all," said Dave Butler, chief executive officer of Paciolan. "We're happy to be continuing our partnership and to be supporting their efforts with our industry-leading ticketing, fundraising and marketing solutions."
