The Warranty Group Adds Industry Leader in IT Role


CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - May 21, 2013) - The Warranty Group, Inc. (TWG) today announced the appointment of Tom Kilian as chief information officer. Kilian is responsible for managing TWG's global enterprise systems, infrastructure and processes across its 33 global offices and will focus on bringing new and differentiating technology solutions to the company and its customers. He reports to Tom Warsop, chief executive officer.

Kilian comes to The Warranty Group with an extensive background in IT development and corporate management. He joins TWG after working for the company as a strategic consultant leading a global assessment of the company's IT infrastructure and operations, and contributing to the restructuring of the company's European operations. In addition to previous M&A integration experience, his 35-year career includes CIO and COO positions at Conseco, Inc. and other operating and information technology roles within the global insurance and financial services industries.
