The White House Recognizes DMV.ORG's Commitment to Organ Donation Registration

ENCINITAS, CA--(Marketwired - June 13, 2016) - DMV.ORG, the nation's largest independent resource for DMV-related information and services, announced today that the White House is recognizing DMV.ORG's commitment to significantly reduce the organ donation wait list when it releases its annual Fact Sheet. In partnership with ORGANIZE, DMV.ORG will join efforts to register 1 million new organ donors by autumn of 2016.

DMV.ORG launched its first organ donation page in March 2011 as a way to support the cause. In May 2016, DMV.ORG formed a partnership with ORGANIZE, a non-profit that makes the organ donation process easier to assist the 121,000 Americans still waiting for organs. ORGANIZE created the first-ever Central Donor Registry, an online registration tool that makes organ donation simple.
