Therapy Goes Active at Massage Heights

New Techniques Enhance Effects of Massage

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - Jun 7, 2012) - Massage Heights Guests searching for relief from muscle aches and pains can now obtain additional benefits from their therapeutic treatments through "Active Therapy," one of the "Elevations" offered by Massage Heights Retreats in Houston and the Metroplex.

"Elevations represent a way to heighten the massage experience," explains Massage Heights' Dallas and Houston Regional Developer J.D. Busch. "Massage Heights is committed to a program of consistent innovation, so that we can always provide additional refinement and enhancement of the Guest experience from a relaxation and therapeutic perspective."

Active Therapy is a type of Elevation which is designed to enhance massages given to relieve muscle pain. Hot stones are placed on the body, strategically positioned on the back and other key areas to promote circulation and thereby create deeper muscle relaxation. Then, cold stones are applied to reduce inflammation. Additional therapeutic benefits are obtained through the use of specific stretching techniques which increase mobility and by the application of Massage Heights' Relieve Sports Balm, which brings relief to sore muscles. Active Therapy increases the lasting effects of a massage by allowing muscles to detoxify and mend. This elevation may be added to a 90-Minute massage for $25.

Other Elevations offered by Massage Heights include relaxing Hot Stone Therapy, an all-natural Reviving Foot Scrub, a soothing Hot Towel Cold Stone Face Massage, and sensory-enhancing all-natural Aromatherapy.
