Launching in June 2015, these new cooking appliances will be the only 30" professional-style range and rangetop to offer five burners in the luxury segment. Thermador introduced the product during the opening day of Design & Construction Week in Las Vegas, January 20-22, at booth C3837.
The new range and rangetop enable builders or designers creating a kitchen in a residence with strict ventilation codes to now welcome professional-style Thermador products into the kitchen. With a surface total of 59,000 BTUs, these appliances are approved to work in low CFM or recirculation situations -- ideal in a condo or home where strict codes may preclude more than 300 CFM or venting to the outside.
In addition, the innovative design of these cooking appliances enables designers and builders more design possibilities when personalizing the kitchens of their clients. They will be the only rangetop and range on the market that can be installed with zero clearance against a rear wall surface and custom tile work can be installed directly behind these appliances. This is due to an innovative venting technology that reduces back wall temperatures nearly 20-25 percent when compared to ranges and rangetops with the traditional professional BTU rates.
