ThermoCeramix Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - March 2, 2015) - ThermoCeramix Corporation ("ThermoCeramix" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TCX), a technology-licensing company engaged in the development of high-performance, energy-efficient electric heating solutions, announced today the appointment of Alexandre Paris to the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Company. The Company also announced the appointment of Shaun Parmar to the position of Chief Financial Officer, replacing current Chief Financial Officer, Joseph Mah. Mr. Mah, who has served as the Company's Chief Financial Officer since March 31, 2014, will continue with the Company, working closely with Mr. Parmar.

Mr. Paris served as Chief Operating Officer of ThermoScience Enercoatings Inc., a subsidiary of the Company, until it was amalgamated with ThermoCeramix effective January 1, 2015. Mr. Paris has over 20 years of experience in operations management and he holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the École Polytechnique de Montréal. Before joining the Company, Mr. Parmar was an independent business consultant, prior to which he was the Group Director, Mergers and Acquisitions and Business Development of Bharti Enterprises Limited, one of India's largest business houses. Before this, Mr. Parmar held a number of increasingly senior management positions with leading Canadian companies such as Canada Steamship Lines Inc., Canadian Pacific Railway, BCE Inc., Bell Canada International Inc., Telesystem International Wireless Inc. and Gildan Inc., where he was Vice-President, Business Development and Corporate Treasurer. Mr. Parmar has over 24 years of experience in financial management and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, a Master of Business Administration degree from York University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
