ThermoCeramix Launches First Product Through Downtown Grill Inc.

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 20, 2014) - ThermoCeramix Corporation ("ThermoCeramix" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TCX), an engineering company engaged in the research and development of heating solutions for industrial, commercial and residential applications, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Downtown Grill Inc. ("Downtown Grill") has launched its first new product, the electric Hibachi Grill, powered by ThermoCeramix's patented TCX™ heating technology.

The Hibachi Grill reaches cooking temperatures of up to 700°F in less than ten minutes without a lid, superior performance to most gas barbecues with their lids closed. The Hibachi Grill plugs into a 120 volt 15 amp GFI outlet, and therefore generates no flame and uses no fuel or gas, making it safe to use indoors or out. The grill is lightweight, portable, practical, easy to store, and responds to significant demand from residents of condominium and apartment buildings with open flame barbecue restrictions.

Downtown Grill is committed to offering products that maximize flavor by reaching and maintaining very high cooking temperatures. Cooking at very high temperatures brings out the best taste and tenderness in grilled food. Capitalizing on ThermoCeramix's patented heat transfer conductivity technology, Downtown Grill's products will provide a truly authentic and memorable grilling experience, recreating the cooking conditions of top steakhouses in a consumer's kitchen or on the balcony.

"We are pleased to be meeting our stated goal of commercializing a key application of our patented heating technology with the launch of this revolutionary new grill," commented Louis Desmarais, Chief Executive Officer. "Downtown Grill is in the process of securing distributorships for the Hibachi Grill, its first new product, and expects to be selling through a number of outlets before the busy holiday season."
