Think Tank Training for X Change 2011 Web Analytics Conference Announced

Hands on Training Topics Include Social Media Measurement, Omniture and Mobile Analytics

NOVATO, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 27, 2011) - Semphonic announced today the Think Tank Training Curriculum for X Change 2011, the Web analytics industry's premier conference. X Change will be held this year in San Diego on September 12th-15th.

"We first paired our Think Tank training at X Change 2009," said Semphonic President Gary Angel. "Think Tank training, like X Change, is targeted to sophisticated enterprise measurement professionals. There is little or no training in our industry beyond the basics. At Think Tank, every class is a small group led by top analytics consultants and the objective is to deeply explore cutting-edge topics in digital analytics."

"The quality of instruction was great and it focused on real world conditions," said Dan Irwin of Freddie Mac, a past Think Tank attendee. "I was inspired about the potential of these strategies."

"We've designed Think Tank Training to appeal to all of the types of X Change attendees; there are tracks for Technology and Implementation, Analysis Practitioners, and Marketing/Measurement Managers," said Angel. "Attendees can also customize their own tracks and mix-and-match classes as they prefer."

Offerings include:

  • Mobile Measurement with Greg Dowling
  • First Touch, Last Touch, Don't Touch: Understanding Attribution with Paul Legutko
  • Scorecarding Social Media with Jesse Gross
  • Survey Analytics: Using VOC Data Integrated with Web Analytics with Gary Angel
  • Google Analytics as the 2nd Tool with Allison Hartsoe and Ryan Praskievicz
  • Using Web Analytics to Influence Executive Digital Sponsorship with Lisa Welchman of WelchmanPierpoint
