ThinkEquity Partners Expands Global Franchise by Hiring Six Executives in Research and Banking

Strategic Additions Ensure Continued Commitment to Growth Companies

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - September 10, 2007) - ThinkEquity Partners LLC (LSE: PMR), a leading global growth investment bank, announced the addition of six executives to their banking and research teams to support the firm's continued commitment to growth companies.

Three senior producers joined the banking team. Mihir Jobalia will be a Managing Director and Head of Software Banking and Rick Wolfgram will be a Managing Director and Head of Media Banking. Both will be based in ThinkEquity's San Francisco headquarters. Dan D'Agostino joins the New York office as a Managing Director and Head of the Biotechnology banking practice.

Three individuals have been added to the research team. Jonathan Ruykhaver joins the Firm as a Managing Director in research covering the Infrastructure Software sector. David Woodburn, Principal, Senior Research Analyst, and Soham Pandya, Principal, Senior Research Analyst, join the biotechnology research team. Mr. Woodburn will primarily focus on companies in the central nervous system category, and Mr. Pandya's emphasis will be on metabolic disorders.

BANKING TEAM BACKGROUND

Mihir Jobalia joins ThinkEquity as Managing Director and Head of Software with 13 years experience in technology investment banking and engineering. Prior to joining ThinkEquity Partners, Jobalia was a Senior Vice President in the Technology Investment Banking group at Raymond James. Jobalia's investment banking transaction experience includes private placements, IPOs, follow-on equity offerings, convertible debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and going private transactions. Prior to business school, Jobalia co-founded The Loan Depot, a commercial mortgage company, and also worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Occidental Chemicals. Jobalia received a B.S. (Engineering) from University of Florida, M.S. (Engineering) from University of Houston, and a M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Rick Wolfgram joins ThinkEquity Partners as Managing Director and Head of Media. Previously Rick was a Vice President at Seven Hills Partners LLC, which he joined in 2002. From 2000 to 2002, Rick was a Senior Business Development Manager at Inktomi Corporation. Previously, Rick was an Associate in the Media and Technology investment banking groups at Salomon Smith Barney, where he also served as an Analyst. He also worked as an Analyst at Volpe, Welty & Company. Rick received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS and MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. Rick serves on the board of 826 Valencia, a non-profit organization that helps students develop writing skills.

Dan D'Agostino joins ThinkEquity as a Managing Director and Head of the Biotechnology banking practice. Prior to joining ThinkEquity, Dan served as Acting Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer of Callisto Pharmaceuticals, Inc. beginning in 2004. Prior to Callisto, he spent three years at Punk, Ziegel & Company, as a partner and co-head of healthcare investment banking. He was also a Senior Calling Officer in Gerard Klauer Mattison's Biotech Investment Banking Practice; additionally he has experience in Alex Brown's LBO Sponsors group and Dillon Read's M&A group. Dan has led buyside and sellside advisory assignments, IPOs, public debt and equity financings, senior debt facilities and private placements. Dan earned an M.B.A. in finance and Master's Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tulane University.

RESEARCH TEAM BACKGROUND

Jonathan Ruykhaver joins ThinkEquity Partners as a Managing Director focusing on the Infrastructure Software sector. Prior to joining ThinkEquity, Jonathan was Senior Vice President covering the Infrastructure Software sector for seven years at Raymond James. He began his career in research in 1996 at SunTrust Equitable Securities where he covered IT services and Infrastructure Software. Jonathan received his B.A. in history from Tufts University and participated in a Master's Program in Applied Economics at the University of Michigan. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

David Woodburn joins ThinkEquity Partners as a Principal, Senior Research Analyst focusing on the biotechnology sector with a focus on companies that have a strong presence in the central nervous system (CNS) category. Prior to ThinkEquity Partners, David covered the Specialty Pharmaceuticals sector at Prudential Equity Group for two years. He was employed at Prudential from 2000 - 2006. Before joining Prudential, David helped lead commercial and risk evaluations of pipeline drugs at Searle/Pharmacia (now part of Pfizer). Prior to that, he spent nine years in various business development, marketing, and product development positions at Baxter Healthcare. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, and studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois - Urbana.

Soham Pandya joins ThinkEquity Partners as a Principal, Senior Research Analyst focusing on the Biotechnology sector with a specialty in coverage of metabolic disorders. Prior to joining ThinkEquity Partners, he was a Senior Analyst covering the Biotechnology sector at Susquehanna Financial Group and at Citigroup. He also worked in Equity Research focusing on the biotechnology sector at PaineWebber and Lehman Brothers. Prior to his Wall Street tenure, he worked in industry as a research scientist at Merck. Soham received an M.B.A. from Seton Hall University and a B.A. in Biochemistry from Rutgers University.
