ThinkFlood Partners With RDI as France Welcomes RedEye Controls

WALTHAM, MA and ST. BARTHELEMY, FRANCE--(Marketwire - Nov 1, 2011) - ThinkFlood, maker of RedEye, the world's first universal remote control for tablets, smartphones and computers, has partnered with leading distributor and home design integration group Ressources Design Intégration. The agreement names Ressources Design Intégration (RDI) as exclusive distributor of RedEye controls to the French Caribbean islands and French domestic market.

RDI works closely with a network of architects and interior designers to integrate communications and security systems, as well as video, stereo, and lighting components into custom homes.

"Given the fast pace of the changing home automation market, there is increasing demand for high-end multi-platform solutions like RedEye," said Jean-Christophe Marie, cooperating Manager at Ressources Design Intégration. "Customers want products that can grow and change with the technology in their pocket. RedEye is the only solution that works with Apple, Android and PCs -- and it is so flexible that it has the ability to work with the platforms of the future."

ThinkFlood first revolutionized home technology in 2009, with the introduction of the first Apple-compatible universal remote control solution for iPhone. In 2010, it was the first company to integrate support for Android devices and PCs into a universal remote control and automation solution for the home.

"We chose RDI as exclusive distribution partner because they are truly specialists in smarthome integrated systems and electronics, and meet their clients' needs in innovative ways," said Adam Shapiro, Vice President of Operations at ThinkFlood.
