Third Annual Chicago Women's Funny Festival Came to Stage 773

This Diverse Event Is a New Tradition for Lakeview, Highlighting the Proximity of Planned Property Management's Apartments to Cultural Events

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Oct 10, 2014) - The 3rd Annual Chicago Women's Funny Festival took over Stage 773 on June 5-8 with 400 comedians on 4 stages over 4 days. The event included a wide variety of acts, including standup, improve, burlesque, solo shows, one acts, and more.

The festival was founded in 2012 by Jill Valentine and Liz McArthur to give women the opportunity to get together and celebrate all forms of comedy under one roof. The event has always been hosted at Stage 773. In addition to the performances, the event included numerous workshops and networking opportunities designed to help women succeed in comedy.

Jasko Omervic of Planned Property Management said of the event, "The Women's Funny Festival is a huge, hilarious event. Although it's only in its third year, it's already made a big impact on the local scene. It's great to have a place like Stage 773 that hosts this kind of event just a 20 minute walk from our property at 515 W. Briar Place."

The Women's Funny Festival is just one of many comedy shows hosted by Stage 773, many of them recurring monthly, featuring a wide variety of styles. For more information, go to
