Third Annual Food Drive: The Alouettes' Players' Wives Continue to Help Their Community

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 12, 2005) - For the third consecutive season, the Montreal Alouettes' Players' Wives Association is organizing a non-perishable food items collection for the Greater Montreal region's needy citizens.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the Players' Wives Association invites all fans to contribute by bringing non-perishable food items to the game as the Alouettes host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers this September 25 at Percival Molson Stadium.

The players' wives will be stationed at each entrance of the stadium when its doors open at 11:30 a.m. to receive fan donations with the cooperation of the Sun Youth team.

The organization's objective is to collect 5,000 non-perishable food items.
