Third Party Validations for Terralene Fuels

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - October 20, 2010) -  Golden Spirit Enterprises Ltd. (OTCBB: GSPT) reports that as part of the Company's objective in developing a fuel specification standard that will incorporate Terralene for acceptable use in most countries, it must provide the necessary due diligence information to interested parties in order for them to verify the effectiveness and practicality of Terralene Fuel, its patented alternative fuel formulation.

The due diligence information will include studies from these independent third parties:

  • Canadian Defense Department -- who conducted an analysis of Terralene by using Terralene's formulation to characterize its physical and chemical properties. The fuels were then used in a combustion engine and the exhaust emissions measured by a number of techniques. It was confirmed that the emissions of Terralene fuels produced fewer emissions of hydrocarbons, NOx, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, compared to gasoline.
  • Alberta Research Council -- whose Industrial Support/Fuels and Lubricants Group broke down the composition of Terralene Fuels and their octane levels complying with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 for specific tests registered with the Standards Council of Canada.
  • OTI Canada Group -- who provided certification of Terralene as an oxygenated fuel containing ethanol and other components which meets the detailed requirements for the oxygenated gasoline of the National Standard of Canada, as per CAN/CGSB-3.511-2005 for certification of oxygenated fuel containing ethanol, with the exception of its alcohol content.
  • Kemex Ltd. -- who provided a feasibility study of Terralene as an alternative fuel product and the benefits available to refineries by simplifying their processes when producing Terralene. The study shows additional profits can be realized for refineries when producing Terralene.

All of these third party studies confirm the validity of Terralene Fuel's formulation and its relevance in today's environmentally conscious society.

Terralene Fuel's worldwide patents were filed and are administered by the law firm of Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP, who are internationally recognized Patent and Trade-mark Agents.
