Best Video Love Letter to a Product Will Earn $500 Gift Certificate in ShopWiki's "I Heart My [Blank]" Video Review Contest

ShopWiki today kicked off its "I Heart My [Blank]" video contest, calling on consumers to demo their most cherished objects on video for the opportunity to win a $500 gift certificate and the satisfaction of sharing beloved products with the ShopWiki community.

Video love letters can be uploaded to now through February 12 and users can vote for their favorite clips through February 13. The highest-voted video will be announced on Valentine's Day. This Grand Prize Winner will have his or her unhealthy obsession rewarded with the choice of a $500 gift certificate from one of five major online retailers:, Best Buy, Target, or Apple.

"If there's a product you absolutely love, odds are someone else will love it too," said Shoshana Winter, ShopWiki Shopping Expert. "With video love letters, shoppers will get to discover great products by actually seeing how real people use them and talk about them."

ShopWiki, the comprehensive resource for online shopping, already features more than 500 user-generated video reviews of feature-rich products (both positive and negative), in addition to hosting more than 1,500 buying and gift guides written and edited by shoppers, and searching products from more than 180,000 online stores. Entries to the "I Heart My [Blank]" contest will also be automatically considered as regular submissions to the ShopWiki video review library and its limited-time compensation of $50 for each accepted video (valid through the end of February).
