NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jan 4, 2016) - Adorama, one of the world's largest photography, video and audio, imaging, and electronics retailers, will host a free seminar and live demos from Wednesday, January 6 to Thursday, January 7 in its Manhattan-based super store.

Learning from renowned subject matter experts, attendees will walk away with valuable insights, useful tips, and some great freebies.

Seminar: A Guide to Better Travel Photography with Ralph Velasco
Wednesday, January 6th, 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Ralph Velasco -- a renowned travel photography instructor, author, and international guide -- will discuss a variety of tips and techniques for photographers of all skill levels to help them bring home better images from their travels. Ralph will also discuss the preparation he does before a trip, how to make the best decisions on travel and photography during a trip, as well as his post-trip workflow.

To visually demonstrate these easy-to-understand concepts, Ralph will be using images he took from recent scouting and group trips to places as far afield as Cuba, Lapland, the Baltic region, Morocco, Spain, Turkey, and Southeast Asia.

As a bonus, attendees will receive a free PDF of Ralph's 150-page eBook, 101 Tips for Developing Your Photographic Eye & More.

Free Demo: Create Stunning Portraits with One Light with Daniel Norton
Thursday, January 7th, 3 Sessions: 12pm - 1pm, 2pm - 3pm, & 4pm - 5 pm

Join Daniel Norton -- Adorama Pro's senior lighting consultant and trainer -- as he demonstrates how portrait photographers can use one light set-ups to tell a great story. While classical portrait photography often uses 3-point lighting to help tell the story of the subjects, Daniel will demonstrate how one-light set-ups can sometimes work just as well or even better.

The three sessions will cover different modifiers: constant lighting, studio style flash, and small flash. Attendees will learn how to master a single light set-up, which is useful for shooting on location or when photographers don not have time or space for a full set-up.

Sign up for one session or sign up for all.
