NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Dec 7, 2015) - Adorama, one of the world's largest photography, video and audio, imaging and electronics retailers, will host two free seminars, a free demonstration, and a live podcast recording from Monday, December 7 to Friday, December 11 in its Manhattan-based super store.

Learning from renowned subject matter experts, attendees will walk away with valuable insights. Adorama will host the following free events:

Canon Imaging Presents: Wide Format Printing Seminar
Monday, December 7th, 2 Sessions: 4pm - 5:30pm & 6pm - 7:30pm
Just in time for the holidays, Canon Imaging will host a seminar/live demonstration about wide format printing. Canon's large format printing solutions are designed with exceptional speed, flexibility, and quality in mind. Attendees who'd like to have photos printed can bring them to the seminar/live demonstration. Each of the two sessions will last for 90 minutes.

"Yesterday & Today" with Richard Corman
Tuesday, December 8th, 2 Sessions: 4pm - 5:30pm & 6pm - 7:30pm
In this seminar, renowned photographer Richard Corman will explore his photography journey spanning the last three decades. As a portrait photographer, Richard has worked with the likes of Robert De Niro, Meryl Streep, and Daniel Craig. He has also worked with Madonna and Misty Copeland.

Documentarian Ken Burns has praised Corman's versatile body of work, noting that it had an "artistic vision dedicated to the highest aspirations of human endeavor...the photographs record in big moments and small, among the famous and ordinary, the gifted and challenged, larger truths relevant to all of us."

Each of the two sessions will last for 90 minutes.

Free Demo: Shooting Portraits with Speedlights (Small Flash) with Daniel Norton
Thursday, December 10th, 3 Sessions: 12pm, 2pm, & 4pm
This free demonstration will be conducted by Daniel Norton, seasoned photographer and Senior Lighting Consultant and Trainer at Adorama Pro. Daniel will show attendees how to use small flashes (also called speedlights) to create stunning portraits.

Attendees will also learn how to control their speedlights off camera both in Manual and TTL mode, as well as mix flash and ambient light. They'll use one to four speedlights to create a variety of looks and will learn how and when to use high speed sync.

Podcast: "We're Getting Better" with Bryon Summers
Friday, December 11th, 12pm
Adorama will host a live recording of the weekly podcast "We're Getting Better" with host Bryon Summers, the resident photographer of the hip-hop podcast "The Combat Jack Show."

"We're Getting Better" focuses on photographic situations, experiences, and lessons to help aspiring photographers improve their craft.
