Live Podcast: Photo Brigade with Music and Celebrity Photographer Drew Gurian
Wednesday, March 2nd, 4pm - 5pm

Join NYC-based celebrity and music photographer Drew Gurian at the Adorama in-store event space or tune in at for the Photo Brigade podcast.

Drew has spent his career focusing on the intersection of photography and music culture. His ability to seek out and capture raw, intimate moments has defined his style. His corporate clients include Red Bull and Reebok, and his editorial clients include The Associated Press, Rolling Stone Magazine, and The New York Times.

Drew has spent the last 10 years traveling around the world with his camera. He is accustomed to working with productions of all sizes, working quickly under pressure, and staying within budget to deliver emotionally charged imagery of musicians and celebrities in and out of the spotlight.

Alicia has worked as a professional photographer for over 20 years. She has worked for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Seattle Times, The Guardian, and other prestigious publications. Her editorial and corporate clients include Sports Illustrated, Golf Digest, and Donald Trump's show "The Apprentice."

Alicia founded and serves as executive director and program designer for NYC SALT, a non-profit that provides photography programming and mentoring to underserved teens in NYC. She has also participated in the Eddie Adams Workshop for over eight years.

OnSet Open Shoot Day: Shoot Beautiful Models and Actors with Daniel Norton
Thursday, March 3rd, 3 Sessions: 12pm - 1pm, 2pm - 3pm, 4pm - 5pm,

Join Daniel Norton (Adorama Pro's senior lighting consultant and trainer) and Steven Rossi (Photoflex sales representative and photographer) for a free open model shoot. Adorama will provide two models, lighting, and some lenses. Attendees should bring their cameras, memory cards, and a desire to capture great images.

Daniel will set up new lighting at the start of each session, and attendees are free to shoot and use the images for their portfolios and other non-commercial forms of promotion (such as social media uploads).

Join photographer and podcast host Bryon Summers for another installment of "We're Getting Better," a podcast that focuses on photographic situations, experiences, and lessons that aim to grow a community of aspiring photographers. For new episodes, please visit

Bryon is the resident photographer for the number one hip-hop podcast "The Combat Jack Show," and he regularly exhibits his photography projects in New York and New Jersey.

Workshop: Long Exposure Part I with Al Espinosa
Sunday, March 6th, 12pm - 3:30pm

Join Al Espinosa, an award-winning photographer and graphic designer, for two sessions that will explore shooting long exposures. The first session (12pm - 1:30pm) will go over the gear used for shooting long exposures, while the second session (2pm - 3:30pm) will go over the required settings and techniques. There will also be a Q&A session.

Attendees whose names and email addresses are on the sign in sheet can participate in the raffle for the chance to win an Adorama gift card.
