Thomas Simpson School Launches Aboriginal Youth Entrepreneurship Program With Martin Aboriginal Education Initiative

CALGARY, ALBERTA and MONTREAL, QUEBEC and FORT SIMPSON, NORTHWEST TERRITORIES--(Marketwired - May 2, 2013) - The Martin Aboriginal Educational Initiative (MAEI) and Enbridge Inc., together with the Dehcho Divisional Education Council and Thomas Simpson School, invite you to attend the launch of MAEI's Aboriginal Youth Entrepreneurship Program (AYEP) in Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories.

Under AYEP, Aboriginal students in grades 11 and 12 will gain a knowledge of business and entrepreneurial experience while developing the skills and knowledge they need to complete their high school education and go on to post-secondary studies.

The Right Honorable Paul Martin, Canada's 21st Prime Minister, will be present at the launch, along with Enbridge representatives, education officials, Aboriginal leaders and local community representatives.
