DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - Sep 8, 2011) - Thought Equity Motion, Inc. -- a leading provider of cloud-based video platform and footage licensing services -- announced the acquisition of Panvidea, a platform provider for video preparation, processing, packaging and delivery.

Panvidea enables professional content owners, broadcasters, publishers, and advertising agencies to encode, edit and package their video content for distribution to any digital platform across any digital network at a fraction of the time and cost. Panvidea provides a scalable, cloud-based solution to encode digital media elements, manage relevant metadata, edit and transform media for multiple audiences, and supply content as digital products to any platform or device.

Thought Equity Motion's T3 Platform combines enterprise-class, multi-petabyte storage and disaster recovery (DR) for master-quality assets with a rich web-based application set for video search, preview, metadata, and delivery services. The company serves thousands of video producers and content owners globally, from major media companies and sports leagues to production companies, agencies, and enterprises.

Chris Cali, Panvidea's CEO and Co-founder, is joining Thought Equity Motion as VP, Platform Technologies. Cali developed leading edge solutions around digital video management at Sony Music Entertainment and Maven Networks before founding Panvidea.
