ThreatTrack Security Appoints Stewart D. Curley Chief Financial Officer

Proven Financial Leader With Extensive Experience Raising and Managing Capital Will Aid Company in Its Long-Term Growth Strategy

CLEARWATER, FL and RESTON, VA--(Marketwired - October 10, 2013) - ThreatTrack Security today announced the appointment of Stewart D. Curley as chief financial officer. Curley has extensive experience leading the global financial, accounting, administrative, human resources, legal and professional services operations with emerging-growth technology companies. He will be based in the company's newly-established Washington, D.C. office and will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Julian Waits, Sr.

Curley has more than 25 years of proven financial and operational management experience with a wide array of emerging software and IT services companies. He also has broad experience developing and executing strategies to successfully raise capital through private equity investment, public financing, and mergers and acquisitions.

"Stewart has helped software companies quickly expand from early stage growth to sustained profitability in competitive markets poised for long-term success," said Waits. "His experience raising and managing capital, as well as his leadership on the operations side of the house are valuable additions to our senior leadership team."

Prior to joining ThreatTrack Security, Curley worked at Modus eDiscovery, Inc., a leader in the rapidly growing eDiscovery services and software market in Washington, D.C., where he restructured finance and operations, raised a significant equity round and positioned the company for rapid growth. He continues to be a member of the company's advisory board. Curley previously served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer for SecureInfo Corporation, a cybersecurity software and services company, which was sold to Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, Inc. (KTOS).

Curley has also served as the corporate controller and director of finance for Orbital Sciences Corporation (ORB), as well as chief financial officer for the Performance Operations Management Systems Corporation (POMS), which was sold to Honeywell (HON).

"ThreatTrack Security is uniquely positioned to capitalize on emerging cybersecurity trends, most notably enterprise demand for solutions that do more than just detect Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs), but also provide remediation for advanced cyber threats," said Curley. "I look forward to working with the executive team to refine our strategy and prepare the company to capture a significant position in the advanced threat protection market."
