Three Ingram Micro Executives Named to 2011 CRN Channel Chiefs List

Paul Bay, Renee Bergeron and Brian Wiser Recognized for Leadership, Channel Advocacy and Commitment to Partner Enablement

SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwire - February 28, 2011) -   Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced three of its North American executives have been recognized by Everything Channel's CRN Magazine as 2011 Channel Chiefs. Paul Bay, executive vice president; Renée Bergeron, vice president, managed services and cloud computing; and Brian Wiser, senior vice president of commercial and consumer markets divisions were all honored for their continued leadership, channel advocacy and commitment to partner enablement. This is the second year in a row that Wiser has received this accolade.

The CRN Channel Chiefs list is a prestigious recognition of those executives in North America who work very closely with the value added reseller (VAR) and managed service provider (MSP) community to defend, promote and execute effective partner programs and strategies.

In 2010, Bay, Bergeron and Wiser worked closely with Ingram Micro's executive and management teams to bring to market a number of high-profile divisions, strategic initiatives and enablement resources. Included in these efforts was the introduction of the Advanced Computing and Advanced Technologies Divisions, the new Commercial and Consumer Markets Division, the Ingram Micro Experience Center and the Ingram Micro Cloud.

Under their combined North American leadership, Ingram Micro continued to accelerate the success of thousands of channel partners through its GovEd Alliance, SMB Alliance, System ArchiTECHs and VentureTech Network channel partner communities, as well as the Ingram Micro Services Network. Ingram Micro's growing specialty divisions and business units also gained traction and deliver meaningful results for channel partners throughout the U.S. and Canada in 2010.

"The continued investments we make around enabling the success of our channel partners clearly differentiates Ingram Micro and demonstrates the business value we place on maintaining and growing these relationships," says Keith Bradley, senior executive vice president and president, Ingram Micro North America. "Having three of our North American executives once again represented on this year's CRN Channel Chief list is a great example of the leadership, talent and passion that defines Ingram Micro and in turn gives our channel partners the innovation, performance and reliability they are looking for in a distribution partner. We extend our congratulations to Brian, Paul and Renée."

Channel Chiefs are chosen by Everything Channel's editorial team based on criteria including policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.

"Being named a Channel Chief is one of the most prestigious honors in the IT industry. This year's Channel Chiefs offer tremendous insight into the who's who of the channel," said Kelley Damore, vice president and editorial director, Everything Channel. "Top channel executives consistently ensure that the channel's voice is heard when strategic decisions are being made and continually nurture mutually profitable relationships. We applaud this year's Channel Chiefs for their successful partner programs and strategies."
