Thresher Industries Selects Japanese Representative

Thresher's Relationship With Japan's J.E. Access Opens New Markets for Its Products

LOS ANGELES, CA and YOKOHAMA, JAPAN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 21, 2007 -- Thresher Industries (PINKSHEETS: THRI), a Hanford California based manufacturer of quality aluminum and composite components, announced today that it has appointed J.E. Access Ltd., a Yokohama-based technology-transfer and consulting firm, as its representative office in Japan. Thresher's Talon Composite Division will work closely with J.E. Access Ltd.

Thresher Industries Vice President Robin Carden remarked, "Our high performance advanced metal matrix materials can be used in a variety of applications throughout Japan, and we are excited to announce our partnership with J.E. Access. We are committed to serving our customers throughout the world, and the Thresher team is pleased to join forces with J.E. Access President Hans-Henning Judek and his associates to better serve the Japanese market."

Hans-Henning Judek, President of J.E. Access, noted, "We at J.E. Access have been meeting regularly with the Thresher team and have found that their materials dramatically reduce weight without sacrificing structural strength. Thresher recognizes the great opportunities that exist in the Japanese market, and J.E. Access looks forward to exploring these new business relationships together with Thresher."

Mr. Carden added, "At this point, we are focusing on identifying partners who can best utilize our proprietary materials in nuclear shielding applications. The impending operational launch of the Rokkasho nuclear reprocessing plant and use of MOX nuclear fuels has created a strong demand for high-safety nuclear shielding materials in Japan. We are looking forward to helping keep the citizens of Japan safe from spent nuclear fuel, just as our Talbor® material has done in the United Kingdom, through our relationship with British Nuclear Fuel (BNFL) and in the United States and China, through our partnership with US-based NAC."
