LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - October 28, 2013) - HUMAN (humanllc.org) a film company with a benevolent twist just launched its 30-day crowd-funded Kickstarter Human Race Campaign for their thriller feature "Relentless," involving Human Trafficking. "Relentless" will lens in El Salvador and Los Angeles in early 2014, benefitting well known Abolitionist Aaron Cohen and The Abolish Slavery Coalition (abolishslavery.org) to increase awareness and raise funds for the rescue and rehabilitation of Human Trafficking victims.
"Our goal is to take the audience on an international thrill ride while including them in our fight to end human trafficking," says HUMAN founder & "Relentless" director Lance Tracy. "The project will financially benefit The Abolish Slavery Coalition, co-market their cause and our film, and help rescue and rehabilitate slaves while filming."
Tracy, who is currently helping to brand the 2014 Winter Olympics at NBC, has produced several award-winning film projects around the world, including Mexico & Central America.
"Crowd-funding through Kickstarter has afforded us many opportunities we wouldn't have had through the traditional studio," says Producer Michelle Glenn. "We are engaging our audience directly and getting their feedback on our film before we shoot. And we're providing tangible ways to help them end Human Trafficking.
There are several rewards for supporting the film at any price-point, including collectable items from the film, advanced screenings, a limited edition Blu-ray, or for the right amount, a speaking part in the film.
