NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 17, 2010) - Thumb Wrestling Federation: TWF Royal Thumble is available today on the iTunes App Store for $0.99. Royal Thumble is the first split-screen, two-player, thumb wrestling game for the iPad. The app transforms the device into a wrestling ring. With gesture-based controls, players go thumb to thumb by tapping and swiping to smack down each opponent.

Alongside the game, the app also includes an in-app store where you can download your favorite characters for endless match combinations. There are currently two character bundles available that can be purchased for $1.99 each.

Royal Thumble also features episodes of Thumb Wrestling Federation: TWF Season 4. Episodes will roll out weekly so players can watch and learn from the pros.

"Starting as kids everyone loves thumb wrestling," says Larry Schwarz, CEO of Animation Collective and the creator of TWF. "If they are a fan of the series or not, this is a great new way to experience the old school game."

"This is our most ambitious app to date," says Pablo Quinteros, Animation Collective's director of interactive media. "Royal Thumble will delight TWF fans old and new alike. We are excited to continue the expansion of our original properties into the app market in the upcoming year."
