The decision to close the 98-year-old institution, ranked as one of the top schools in Ontario, sparked the decision to bringing together former students from across Canada and the United States to celebrate one of Canada's most beautiful schools and to protest its closing, slated for 2007.

Highlights of the reunion will include a welcome reception, a tour of PACI, and a 1950's-era dinner and dance.

"Interest is very high", says organizer Marg (Thompson) Aris. "So many of us have great memories of PACI and we are making every effort to reach as many classmates as possible." A web site has been developed and interested alumni can go to for more information or call Marg Aris at (807) 344-8375.
