Thunder Bay's January Starts Behind 10 Year Average


THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 8, 2012) - According to preliminary data released today by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), Thunder Bay's three single-detached starts in January were down from the six units built last January and also below the 10-year average.

"Despite warm weather in the past month, January's three single-detached starts were slightly below the ten year average for singles of four units," said Warren Philp, CMHC's Northern Ontario Market Analyst.
