Ticket Summit® Draws Live Entertainment and Ticketing Experts

Executives From Around the World in Attendance at Ticket Industry Event

VERNON, CT--(Marketwire - Jul 18, 2011) - Ticket Summit®, the leading conference and trade show for the live entertainment industry, recently hosted its summer conference July 13-15, 2011 at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The conference drew over 750 registrants, including prosports ticketing executives, venue managers, producers, promoters, marketers, and primary and secondary ticketing agencies. Beyond the roster of executives from the U.S. and Canada, also in attendance were a large number of international companies from Australia, Denmark, Israel, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, among other countries.

The Ticket Summit® conference schedule included a wide range of panel sessions, such as Rev Up Your Marketing!, The Vegas Box Office, Sports & Entertainment, and Ticketing Technology (Parts I and II). The speaker roster included representatives from Detroit Pistons, eBay, Facebook, L.A. Dodgers, Miami Dolphins, V Theater, Seatwave,, among others. In addition to industry panels, the conference included a series of special events, including a private sales training session led by Bill Guertin (CEO, The 800-Pound Gorilla®); a book-signing event with Dean Budnick (Relix) and Josh Baron (Relix), co-authors of Ticket Masters: The Rise of the Concert Industry and How the Public Got Scalped; a private Ticketing Workshop for NHL executives; a keynote address with industry giant Fred Rosen; as well as the 3rd Annual Enterprise Awards.

Concurrent with the panel session schedule, the conference also featured a sold-out trade show with more than 30 exhibitors who conducted product demonstrations and provided industry information to conference attendees. The conference came to a close on Friday, July 15 with its signature Closing Gala at TAO nightclub.
