TicketLiquidator's Ticket of the Week: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Benefit Concert

VERNON, CT--(Marketwire - August 3, 2009) - TicketLiquidator, the leading provider of the world's most extensive ticket inventory for hard-to-find, low-priced tickets, announced today that tickets to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Benefit Concert are available for purchase at affordable prices on

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, located in downtown Cleveland, Oh, has served as a museum documenting the history of rock and roll music since the building was erected in 1995; the institution itself has been in existence since 1983. The Hall of Fame calls a pyramid shaped building home and over seven million visitors have walked through its entrance since its inception. In addition to maintaining an extensive library of rock and roll history, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame features rotating interactive exhibits showcasing the most prominent subjects in the music industry.

The first ever Hall of Fame inductees included Little Richard, Ray Charles, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley among others. Currently, performers are eligible for induction 25 years after their first record is released and must demonstrate significant influence on the music world according to a strict set of standards. Nearly one hundred artists have been awarded legendary status by the museum to date -- 2009 inductees include Jeff Beck, Little Anthony & The Imperials, Run-DMC, Bobby Womack and Metallica, who will perform at the much anticipated Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Benefit concert this fall.

The concert will celebrate the institution's quarter century existence and is scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden on October 29th and 30th in New York City. The tentative line-up of performers includes Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Stevie Wonder, Simon and Garfunkel and Crosby, Stills & Nash on October 29th, 2009 and U2, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton and Metallica on October 30th, 2009.

"All performances at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Benefit are legendary in their own right, and that's what makes this concert benefit so monumental," said Alexandra Owens, Managing Editor, TicketLiquidator. "This is perhaps the only opportunity fans will have to witness so many renowned acts under one roof."

The show features Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees performing nearly 60 years worth of Rock and Roll history with more performers to be announced in the upcoming months. With music fans awaiting the release of the full lineup, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Benefit Concert tickets are TicketLiquidator's ticket of the week.
